Jenna Love, a New York City based saxophonist blends jazz with a modern rock flair, captivating audiences worldwide with soulful melodies and dynamic performances. At age 16 she began touring nationally with Jon Anderson from Yes completing two full tours before graduating high school. Known for her infectious energy on stage, she has collaborated with musical titans Leisure, Mingus Big Band, Boom Diwan, Cowboy Malfoy, Billy Drewes, McClenty Hunter, and more.
Jenna has performed internationally at venues and festivals such as The Blue Note, The Paramount, Chris’ Jazz Cafe, Capital Theater, Elsewhere, Variety Playhouse, Plaza Live, Palace Theatre, Kings Theatre, Chiavari Jazz Festival, headlined The Rites of Spring Music Festival and more. She has most recently toured America with New Zealand pop supergroup Leisure and Brooklyn maximalist rock band partygirl.
Born and raised in the Philadelphia area, Jenna has been playing saxophone since age 10. She spent her adolescence studying at The Clef Club School of Jazz under Lovett Hines, Monette Sudler, and Robert Landham. She has studied with mentors such as Michael Hudson Casanova, Chris Oatts, Andrew Neu, Tony Micelli etc. At 16 Jenna received the opportunity to tour nationally with Jon Anderson from Yes through an audition at Paul Green Rock Academy.
Jenna currently attends New York University’s prestigious jazz saxophone program after being accepted to every college she applied to. She continues to perform in New York City weekly with her self formed band Who Shot Lulu.
